Little Kingdom (Kindergarten)

Little Kingdom(Kindergarten and Pre-Primary) curriculum ensures that all children are provided with learning opportunities that recognize and celebrate their uniqueness and develop their full potential. The focus is on the child as a learner for which variety of teaching methodologies are used. The curriculum emphasizes the need for great attention to students with special educational needs and the importance of achieving functional literacy and numeracy in them. It also draws attention to the needs of gifted children.
We expose children to rich experience of daily life and help social etiquettes and communication skills. An overall development of a child’s potential is our prime goal.
As the mission of St.Teresa’s is to guide a child to bloom intellectually, spiritually into a versatile personality to reach the zenith of success to develop and encourage the personality and the intellectual development assessment is done through the LACC Assessment Sheet.

Primary School

St.Teresa’s Convent School’s Primary level started in the year 1991and received recognition in 1994.The school being affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education and Higher Secondary Education, Maharashtra State under Pune Board, Nashik Division has been following the course as prescribed by the State.
The Languages English, Marathi & Hindi subjects and General Science, Social Science, Mathematics, I.T, Arts and Craft culminates to form the curriculum of our Primary School. What is more interesting is that apart from the State Board textbooks, NCERT books are also introduced in almost all the subjects.

Secondary School

St. Teresa’s Convent High. Sec. School follows the course of study prescribed by Maharashtra State Board. The school is affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education and Higher Secondary Education, Maharashtra State under Pune Board, Nasik Division.
Besides the Languages English, Marathi, Hindi & Sanskrit subjects like General Science, Social Science, I.T. & Arts are also taught.

Higher Secondary School

St. Teresa’s Convent English Medium School, Jalgaon, started with Junior College in May 2006. The Jr. College follows the State Board Syllabus as laid down by Maharashtra Government under the Nashik Divisional Board. Higher Secondary Section offers Science and Commerce Stream prescribed by HSC.The medium of instruction is English.

Assessment And Evaluation

The assessment structure and examination comprises of Two Unit Tests and Two Term Exams.
Weekly subject wise class tests are conducted for periodic internal assessment of every child.
Promotion to the next standard is based on the aggregate performance of two Unit Tests and two Semester exams.
