In our school, we actively practice by emphasizing value education in our curriculum and teaching as it encourages and supports the spiritual, moral, social and cultural status of every child, the technique to impart is interwoven in every element of teaching process. The outcome can be seen but more prominently felt.
The saying ‘A family that prays together stays together’¬ is religiously followed by management, teaching and student body of our school by allotting a separate day for prayer at start of the day, towards the closure of the academic day and in between and at the start of every period with a prayerful response.
Every lesson taught irrespective of the subject carries a value to impart. The teachers ensure to include a value to mention for all the lessons and put in overall efforts to imbibe the values learnt through the lessons in day-to-day life. Thus,the aim of education is the knowledge of facts including values
‘Teresian family’ is intact through the value of prayerfulness. We begin with a teacher’s prayer meet, then school assembly, prayerful response at the start of every period, prayers before tiffin break and at the end of the session with assembly prayer thus worshiping God in fullness and strength.
